Mark your calendars! Archer Mayor is the author of the highly acclaimed, New York Times bestselling, Vermont-based series featuring detective Joe Gunther. Mayor will talk about THREE CAN KEEP A SECRET, the latest Joe Gunther mystery, muse upon his writing process and take questions from the attendees in the Cornerstone Room at Okemo Mountain Resorts' Jackson Gore on Saturday December 21 at 7pm. Whereas many writers base their books on only interviews and scholarly research, Mayor’s novels are based on actual experience in the field as a death investigator for Vermont’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and as a detective for the Windham County Sheriff’s Office. The result adds a depth, detail and veracity to his characters and their tribulations that has led the New York Times to call him “the boss man on procedures”.
