On Saturday, May 13th from 9:00 am - 10:00 am the St. Albans Parks Commission along with the City of St. Albans will be planting 5 trees in the area around the Houghton Park Playground. These native species of trees will provide shade for families using the playground as well as a nice spot for people to stay cool in the summer. This event is an opportunity for community members to participate in an activity that will be a part of this park for many years to come. It will be an informative event with details on proper tree planting as well as an interactive event for kids and adults. Join us on May 13th for this great experience.
