The Adulterer's Daughter" in Stowe Sunday

Past event
May 7, 2017, 4 to 6 PM

:
On Sunday, May 7th at 4pm, the Jewish Community of Greater Stowe (JCOGS) Arts and Entertainment Committee will present the award winning journalist and author, Patricia Weiss Levy discussing her autobiographical novel, "the Adulterer's Daughter".

Based on her true story, "the Adulterer’s daughter" is a gripping, candid, yet darkly humorous autobiographical novel by the writer whose father kept a mistress for more than 15 years while still married to her mother. Told as a series of 14 linked fiction-like stories, the coming-of-age tale is less about the author's affluent, tyrannical father and his torrid affair than his only daughter's lifelong search to rise above her suburban Jewish family's dirty little secret and find true, lasting love. "The Adulterer’s daughter" is an idealistic journey made more complicated when, despite her own values, she eventually falls for a married man herself.

This event is free and refreshments will be served after the talk.
The author will sign any books that are sold at that time.
JCOGS is located at 1189 Cape Cod Road in Stowe.
