Join Bridgeside Books as we celebrate Children's Book Week + welcome local children's author, Yael Werber. Yael will read her new book 'Spring for Sophie'.

'Spring For Sophie' is a story about a young girl waiting on the start of spring, when all around her the world feels stuck in perpetual winter. Set in the late winter months in the Northeast, Sophie, along with her family, watch as the world changes slowly from snow covered to Spring. Sophie uses her five senses to notice when Spring is starting to get closer and the book follows along with her as she explores spring with her sight, touch, hearing, smell, and taste.

Children's Book Week is the annual celebration of books for young people and the joy of reading. Established in 1919, Children's Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. Every year, events are held nationwide at schools, libraries, bookstores, homes-wherever young readers and books connect!
