Mark your calendars for the North Hero Parks and Recreation Committee's annual "Green Up" Celebration Cook Out at Camp Ingalls. Join your North Hero neighbors to pick up litter in your neighborhood and along our town roadways. Special "Green Up" bags are available at the Town Office. Saturday is the official day for picking up but feel free to pick up litter whenever it is convenient. Please be safe by wearing brightly colored clothing, wearing a hat and staying hydrated. Be careful picking up glass and it's a good idea to carry a "Sharps" container. The North Hero Parks and Recreation volunteers will be at Camp Ingalls at 12 noon on Saturday, May 6th, cooking up burgers and hotdogs as a complimentary lunch for Green Up participants. Bring a bag full of litter and receive a pedometer for your efforts. The town truck will be at Camp Ingalls all day Saturday to receive Green Up bags of litter. Hope to see you there!
