Hello,

The Democratic Party of Ward 7 will be hosting a special caucus this Thursday, May 4, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Robert Miller Community Center located at 130 Gosse Court. The purpose of this meeting is to select who will represent the Democratic party in the city councilor special election to fill the seat vacated by Tom Ayres.

Any voting age adult, who has not voted in another party's primary, can vote at the caucus. You may also register to vote or update your voter information at the caucus. You must be check in before 7:25 PM to receive a ballot.

We are lucky to have three wonderful candidates. They will speak for 3 minutes at the caucus. If you would like to meet with them before or have questions, please contact them or visit the Burlington Democratic website to read their bios.

Modeling civic engagement is important so bring your children. We will be providing free childcare. Email Carmengeorgevt@gmail.com so we know how many childcare providers to have.

You are encouraged to use a nonpolluting method of transportation such as a bike or walking. Carpooling helps too.

We will be collecting canned food or diapers to donate to the New North End food shelf. Thank you to Tom Fleury for coordinating.
