Lego Team is Presenting Flood Preventing Device at Milton Project Day
We will have special visitors joining us at this Friday's Homeschool Project Day and I would love to have a full room of homeschoolers there for them. Hydra is a group of homeschoolers who are going to be competing next week; we will be their official practice presentation.

FIRST Lego Team Hydra is presenting OFPO The Flood Preventing Device at Milton Project Day this Friday at the Milton Library at 2:30 PM Team Hydra is a First Lego League Team of 10 Home school kids between the ages of 9-14. They will compete on November 16 at Norwich University with other teams in the VT/NH region to qualify for the regional tournament that will take place in Nashua New Hampshire in December. This year is the first time this team has participated in this competition.
There are three parts to the First Lego League competition. There is a robotics component that involves the NXT robot and a challenge board. There is a teamwork component and a research project and presentation.
Hydra will do a short 5 minute presentation of their research project and invention. If there is interest we can also bring our robot and robot competition board to demonstrate. We can answer any questions about First Lego League as well to anyone who is interested.
