On Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at 1 p.m., the Middlebury Garden Club has arranged for Sue Anderson, a New Hampshire Master Gardner and owner of Mason Hollow Nursery in Mason, NH, to speak on the history of hostas, growing and propagating them, and diseases that affect them. The talk will take place at the Residence at Otter Creek, 350 Lodge Road, Middlebury. Sue will discuss planting a the shade garden and suggest companion perennials. This program is open to the public and qualifies for Master Gardeners hours.
