This year Green Up Day will occur on Saturday, May 6th. This unique tradition to remove litter and trash from our roadways, waterways and public places helps us all practice stewardship on a local level.
Special Green Up Day bags are available at the Shelburne Supermarket, the Pierson Library and at the town offices. On Green Up Day between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., filled bags can be deposited in the town dump truck parked next to the highway department garage on Turtle Lane off of Harbor Road.
Please do not leave filled bags along the roadside!
