The Humane Society of Chittenden County is hosting a National Geographic Society lecturer and expert on animal intelligence and emotion—and you’re invited!

HSCC’s “Inner World of Animals” event is Wednesday, November 20 from 6-9 PM at Main Street Landing Film House. It’ll feature catering by Skinny Pancake, a silent auction, and a presentation by featured guest Virginia Morell on the latest scientific findings that animals do indeed think, learn, imitate, and have emotions—in contradiction to the longstanding theories of behaviorism that posit animal behavior is based solely on instinct and conditioning.
