Hello everyone,

I’m sure by now you have all heard the tragically sad news of Jenaya D’Amico. This is blow to our community and to our soccer family. What we need do as a club for her family and friends is to offer a shoulder to lean on and show our steadfast support in any way possible. To this end, we are earmarking the raffle proceeds at this year’s annual Lancer Soccer Club’s Spring Fling to the D’Amico’s.

The event is Saturday May 6th at the Barn at Boyden Farm from 7:00 to 11:00. The Spring Fling is our club’s annual fundraiser for our U-16 international travel program. There is live music with the band Locals and Company, free finger foods, a cash bar, and a raffle for a host of great prizes donated by our local supporters. All the money from the sale of the raffle tickets at the Fling will be given to Jenaya’s family.

The D’Amico’s are part of our Cambridge Youth Soccer/Lancer SC family. Let's show them some love!

Come to the Fling, buy some raffle tickets, enjoy some great music, and dance up a storm. The event is now open to all ages. Tickets are just $15/person. It’s a wonderful event and it’s an opportunity to be part of what makes our community so special. The occupancy limit at the Barn at Boyden Farm is 300, so to be safe, get your tickets in advance at the Cambridge Community Center in Jeffersonville, from Palmer Hunt, 730-3276, or at The Barn. Tickets will also be available at the door.
