There’s that elation on those early spring days when you take a long walk or hop on your bike for the first ride of the season. And then there’s the dismay when you look at the peeling paint you ignored on your house last summer and the frustration when the sash cord breaks as you wrestle that window open on a warm day. Your old house needs some attention! Join old house experts for a comprehensive look at caring for your old house. Bring your photos and questions to this one-day workshop and get answers to help you maintain and preserve your house. Understand the reasons for retaining old windows and watch an expert demonstrate how to do basic repairs on your windows. Learn how to choose colors for your old house that are appropriate for its style and construction date. Get advice on how to address energy retrofitting and to develop a maintenance plan for the year.
