Benefit Swing Dance & Big Band Concert
Saturday evening, April 29th at the Old Labor Hall, Barre

Grab your partner and enjoy an evening of big band swing music and dancing. Green Mountain Swing, a 17-piece band will play a benefit to raise funds for the Green Mountain Youth Symphony, central Vermont’s local youth orchestra. Green Mountain Swing plays big band favorites in a variety of styles including swing, Latin, blues, and funk.
Doors open at 6:30 and Live music starts at 7:30 pm.
Come out early and learn a few new steps or brush up on old favorites. Dance lessons are available from 6:45-7:30 pm thanks to Eric Recchia from Vermont Swings & Just for Kicks.
There will be a raffle of baskets filled with delicious Vermont goodies, beautiful as a gift or to enjoy at home.
Baked goods and soft drinks will be offered for sale. All proceeds will benefit GMYS.
