A friend in Fort Ann asked me to spread the word about the climate march in Argyle.
The Glens Falls Peoples Climate March on Sat., April 29th is a sister march to the Peoples Climate March in Washington DC. Gather at City Park (next to Crandall Library) in downtown Glens Falls at 10 AM and march about 1 mile to Crandall Park for a big rally with speakers, music, tables of information and a couple of activities for children.
March for our families and future generations, communities and our earth. It is a critical time in our society. Let's stand up, speak out and take action now to protect our environment - our right to clean air, clean water, park land, species diversity, healthy food sources, climate justice. Let's protect the vulnerable in our society who are the first to be impacted by climate change.
There will be some chairs for folks who are not able to stand. There will not be food so please bring your lunch and water.
