The Burlington High School Scholars' Bowl team will be putting on a trivia night at Hotel Vermont on Monday, May 8th, and all are invited to take part. This event is a fund-raiser to help the BHS team attend the NAQT National Championship Tournament in Atlanta over Memorial Day weekend.

Trivia will take place from 7 to 9 pm in the lobby of Hotel Vermont on Cherry Street in downtown Burlington. Admission is free but we hope participants will donate a few dollars to help us reach our fund-raising goals.

The competition will consist of six rounds of 10 questions from academic and pop subject areas. We're planning to have prizes for the winners of each round and Hotel Vermont offers gift certificates to the top two overall teams. We will also bring our buzzer system so we can break any ties Scholars' Bowl-style.

Hotel Vermont is also planning to donate proceeds from its donation dish (likely flatbread) to our team, so even if you don't want to play, you can still help the cause.
