Washington County Sheriff W. Samuel Hill, in cooperation with the DEA, has coordinated collection sites within Washington County, for the disposal of unused prescription drugs. Pills and capsules only.

According to the DEA, unused prescription medications in homes create a public health and safety concern, because they can be accidentally ingested, stolen, misused, and abused.
