The North Branch Nature Center and the UVM Extension Central Vt. Master Gardeners are co-sponsoring a three-part lecture series on Pollinators in Vermont. The first lecture, "Bumblebees", is this Thursday at 7 P.M.; the second, "Monarch Butterflies", is Thursday, November 14th; the third and last presentation, "Planting for Pollinators with Charlie Nardozzi", is on Thursday, November 14th. All are at 7 P.M.; all are at the North Branch Nature Center, 713 Elm Street, Montpelier. Since honeybees can be so scarce, all of us who are gardeners need to learn as much as we can about other pollinators, and how to protect them!
