Rutland County Community Justice Center is seeking panel members! BROC Community Action is offering an opportunity for you to volunteer to serve your community in a very special way. On Thursday, May 4th at 4:00 p.m. they will be presenting an Introduction to Restorative Justice. The goal of this FREE workshop is to provide an overview of restorative justice philosophy, principles and practices. This will include: what is restorative justice, a comparison of criminal justice and restorative justice, the restorative justice panels, Circles of Support and Accountability (COSA) and volunteer opportunities.
