Great news–the legal capacity of Barre’s Old Labor Hall has been restored to 300 people–just in time for Sen. Bernie Sanders to kick-off this year’s 2-day Primo Maggio celebration with a talk, “From Debs to Sanders: Fighting for Change,” Friday, April 28 at 7 pm. Bernie will be introduced by Vermont Lt. Governor David Zuckerman. It’s FREE but reservations are required. Get yours at oldlaborhall.org –now!
But that ain’t all. The annual Primo Maggio celebration continues with a traditional dinner on Sunday, April 30, at 6 at the Old Labor Hall. It will be followed by an illustrated talk by John Carafoli, author of Great Italian American Food in New England and “That’s Amore,” popular Italian music by John Murelle and The John Salerno Trio. Tickets are $25 and may also be reserved at oldlaborhall.org.
