On Wednesday, April 26, please join the Huntington Community Gardeners for their Spring Kick-off Event, co-sponsored by the Library. 6:30 – 7:00 for potluck snacks and desserts. Please remember that we are a Zero Waste venue, so bring your own drinking ware.
At 7:00 Shaina Kasper from the Toxic Action Center will present an overview of home lawn and garden pesticides - the problems they create for healthy ecosystems and earth-friendly alternatives. There will also be a chance to learn about the Community Gardens and sign up for a plot. Everyone is welcome to this informative event – gardener or not!
