Vermont’s Medical Reserve Corps units or MRC are community-based groups of volunteers who supplement local emergency and public health resources with their existing skills. Currently there are eight MRC units around the state and Lamoille Valley is in the process of starting the ninth. On May 5th from 2-3:00 at the Hardwick Town Office, come learn more about the MRC and how you can participate. You don’t need a medical background to join, just a desire to help your community prepare for emergencies.
