Learning About Nonviolence: Children's March of 1963

Come with your child to enjoy the warm and welcoming environment of the historic Barn House on the Clemmons Family Farm and learn about the Children’s March of 1963 in Birmingham, Alabama. Presentation and discussion facilitated by trained staff of the Peace & Justice Center of Burlington. Participants of all ages will explore Martin Luther King's nonviolence approach to protest (Kingian Nonviolence and more) through watching age-appropriate excerpts from the film "Mighty Times: The Children's March", discussion and song.
