Join scientists, citizens, and citizen scientists for Burlington's March for Science on April 22! We will gather at the plaza outside the Royall Tyler Theatre at 4:30 and the march will begin at 5. We will march down College Street and finish up with a rally at Waterfront Park.
It’s time to take a stand and voice our support for the value of science, engineering, math, and technology, freedom of information, and the right to quality science education. On Saturday, April 22, 2017, the March for Science will bring together passionate supporters to walk the streets in D.C. and at sister marches in Vermont in Montpelier, Burlington, Brattleboro, and Rutland.
The volunteer organizers of the Burlington march are a diverse group; we are students, professionals, and retirees. We are united in our passion for evidence-based policy, funding for STEM education, and partisan opinion-turned-'alternative'-facts.
Join us in Burlington to walk the streets as a champion for science! The rally at Waterfront Park will feature speakers Marguerite Dibble, Harry Chen, M.D., and Bill McKibben. Music provided by Brass Balagan, Africa Jamono and Tsunamibots.
