Title: Empty Bowls -The students and staff of Alburgh Community Education Center and Isle Lamotte teamed up to make some bowls while learning about food insecurity and local food shelves that their families can access.

Location: Islands in the Sun Main Street Alburgh
Reason: To raise awareness of food insecurity and to raise money so that our families in our communities have food for their table.
Who benefits: The proceeds will be go to the Islands in The Sun food shelf How does it work: Come and join us for a wonderful meal soup, bread and drinks(coffee, water and milk) In exchange for a suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family or non perishables you get to keep a handcrafted bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.
