Hello everyone.
I produce a podcast called Rumble Strip, and this Thursday the 20th, at 5:35PM, during All Things Considered, VPR is going to run a story I made about one man's experience with Act 39--which is Vermont's Death With Dignity legislation. It's called Last Chapter, and it tells the story of Bill Morancy and his best friend Rob Mermin, both of Montpelier. After a diagnosis of terminal cancer, Bill decides to use the protocols of Act 39, and he asks Rob to help him through the process. Last Chapter is the story of the months, days and moments leading up to Bill's death. It's a personal and fascinating introduction to the legislation in action and its profound implications for real lives. I hope you can tune in, and if you have a response, you can go to:

I appreciate your time and consideration!
