On Sunday, April 23rd, at 7:30 p.m. at the Waterbury Congregational Church, the Vermont Italian Cultural Associaition (VICA) will present an evening of Italian Opera. Performers will include Sopranos Lillian Broderick and Meghan McCormack.
Lillian was the first VICA scholarship recipient and Meghan has recently received a VICA scholarship. Both women will be returning to Italy this summer to continue their studies there.
The program will include opera arias and art songs as well as some duets by Bellini, Donizetti, Puccini, Tosti, and Verdi.
The concert is free and open to the public. (Donations will be accepted at the door).
