Jane E. Bryant and Jeanne Weston Cook will read from their poetry collections in celebration of National Poetry Month at the Brown Public Library reading room on Sunday, May 23 at 2pm. Refreshments will be served. Bryant is author of a memoir, My Little Life, and a novel, On the Other Side. She is a Northfield native, a graduate of Vermont College and is a member of Writer's Hotel. Cook received an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her poetry collection, Stunned by Illumination, was published by Antrim House. She is also the author of Voices From the Flood, a collection of essays and photographs about Northfield's recovery from Tropical Storm Irene.
