The Peace & Justice Center is grateful to support two very exciting events to commemorate Earth day next Saturday, May 22.

From 9-4:30 is the World Beyond War: What Will It Take? Conference at Winooski High School. With two amazing speakers (David Swanson and Pat Hynes), 13 workshops, and amazing work for sustainable solutions, this is going to be an incredible and inspirational day.

After that, head to UVM for the March for Science (in solidarity with the national march in DC) from 4:30-7:00. There are also solidarity events in Montpelier, Brattleboro, and Rutland so tell your friends! The Burlington event will have great music (Brass Balagan, Tsunamibots, and more), speakers, and the beautiful lake center stage as we march down College Street to a rally on the waterfront.
