The Bethel Development Review Board will be holding its final hearing on the proposal to build a Dollar General Store in the flood plain across from the trailer park just north of town on route 12. The DRB is considering whether to grant Dollar General a variance necessary for DOLLAR General to proceed. The exception is required by state statute because this property is located in a flood plain.

We are hoping for a large turn out of Bethel residents and voters to express their opinion.
