Friends Members Paint-A-Birdhouse Event

Past event
May 4, 2017, 6 to 8 PM

The Friends of the Brown Public Library is a fund raising arm of the library that helps raise funds through membership fees in the Friends and by hosting fundraising events. The funds we raise are kept in a bank account and if the library should need to purchase something that's not included in their annual budget then that money is available to the library to use. In the past some of the funds have been used to purchase a new advertising sign for the library, the children's computer, as well as paying for the prizes for the Summer Reading Program. Our first event of the season will be a members-only Paint-A-Bird House event to be held May 4 in the Community Room at the library from 6-8 pm.

The cost is $15 for members who have a 2017 membership in the Friends. That includes the birdhouse and the paint. Memberships only cost 10.00. Samples of the birdhouses are on display at the library circulation desk along with the sign-up sheet to reserve your spot. Space is limited to 20 people.

Come and Paint-A-Birdhouse and help support the library.

Be sure to wear old clothes.
