Hinesburg Business & Professional Association (HBPA) is proud to once again be hosting the 21st Annual Community Yard Sale. There are several ways that YOU can take advantage of this yearly spring event on Saturday May 13, 2017.
1) Send your name and address to the contact information below and have your addresses listed on our Garage Sale Map. Hundreds of maps are given out that day at our “Event Headquarters” which is located at the Hinesburg Fire Department. The rest is up to you. Great time to get some spring cleaning done and sell the privilege to own some of your belongings that are no longer needed. Kid’s old sports equipment, lawn mower, snow blower, crafts, clothes tools. You get the idea. This is a FREE SERVICE.
2) For $15.00 you can rent a folding banquet table at our Event Headquarters (Hinesburg Fire Department) and sell your items there. Wonderful way for home based businesses, crafters, Girls & Boy Scouts, Sport Teams and Clubs to add to their existing fund raising efforts. Yes, lots of people from out of town have rented tables in the past to sell furniture, small’s etc. Please forward to anyone out of town that comes to mind. Reserve your TABLE ASAP, these sell out. 3) Our Famous 50/50 & Other Prizes Raffle is the third way you can take advantage of this once a year event. Raffle tickets will be available at our “Event Headquarters.” Tickets will be also be sold in advance by HBPA members and various businesses in Hinesburg.

****EARLY ADVANCE NOTICE***** HBPA’s GOLF OPEN will be June 10th at Cedar Knoll Country Club. All proceeds will benefit the Hinesburg 4th of July Fireworks. Business can sponsor a HOLE for $50.00. Teams of 4 should ( $75/per person ) should contact Dave Palmer ASAP 802-482-5678. davepalmer@palmerinsurancevt.com.
All funds raised stay in the community and are used to support our local scholarship fund, community beautification (flower boxes at Town Hall and the old Fire Station building across for The Public House) and many other local needs as they arise.
