Hi friends, Red Wagon Plants on Shelburne Falls Rd in Hinesburg is opening for the season tomorrow, Friday, April 14th at 8 am. We are so excited to show you our gorgeous plants and open up the greenhouses to you. Even though it is cool out, it is a fine time to plant your onions (they prefer it actually), leeks, and shallots. We also have lots of cold hardy vegetable plants for you like broccoli, cabbages, kale and more. If you are new to gardening, our friendly and knowledgeable staff is happy to help you get started. There are lots of flowers blooming in the greenhouses, so please come take a stroll. We will be open every day from 8 am to 6 pm from now until the end of the season.
At the end of the day, help us kick off the season with a celebration, and enjoy a lovely cocktail party in the greenhouses. Our friends from Caledonia Spirits will be here making some lovely drinks (cash bar) and we will have a really special menu on offer from the food truck, Farmers and Foragers. We are especially excited because the weather is predicted to be beautiful and sunny. The party runs from 6 to 8:30. See you soon!
