Aquatic Nuisance Control Public Informational Meeting Notice
The Department of Environmental Conservation (Department) has issued a draft decision, pursuant to 10 V.S.A. §1455, on an application submitted by the Town of Williston requesting authorization to use Pesticide (SePRO Sonar AS®) to control the Eurasian watermilfoil within Lake Iroquois to be conducted in accordance with the conditions set forth in Aquatic Nuisance Control Permit #2240-ANC.
The towns of Hinesburg and Williston have requested the Department hold a public information meeting on the draft decision.
The public information meeting will be held at the Hinesburg Town Hall:

A copy of this draft decision has been posted on the following webpage: http://dec.vermont.gov/watershed/permits/public-notices/lakes-and-ponds. The Department is seeking public comments on this tentative determination, during a 30-day public notice period. Comments must be received before the close of business (4:30 pm) on April 21, 2017. In addition, comments received during the public information meeting will be taken into consideration in the decision. Submit written comments to the email or address above. Ensure the permit number appears on the first page or subject line of any correspondence. All timely comments will be considered in the formulation of a final decision. Pursuant to 10 V.S.A.
