Nov. 6 Lakewise Program: Don't Miss It!

Past event
Nov 6, 2013, 6:30 PM

There’s a town in Vermont called Charlotte.
Our citizens love the lake, streams and wetlands a lot.
Protecting our shorelands is a good solution,
To prevent stormwater runoff, soil erosion and pollution.
These actions will keep Lake Champlain’s water clean for all of us.

Come to the Charlotte Library this Wednesday, November 6 at 6:30 p.m. to learn about the Lakewise Program. You can manage your shoreland to control runoff and prevent erosion, whether you live along the lake, a stream or wetland.

Lakewise Program Manager Amy Picotte will explain how you can earn certification by using affordable best practices that protect water quality.

Plus, enter the raffle for a free native landscaping consultation with Nate Carr of Church Hill Landscaping (must be present to win). Plus, plus, there will be delicious snacks and refreshments!

If you would like more information please send an email to charlottevtcc@gmail.com, or call the Charlotte Library at 425-3864.
