Apr 13, 2017, 7 to 8 PM

The Hyde Park Energy Committee meets this coming Thursday April 13th at 7PM in the lower level of the Hyde Park town offices. The goal of Energy Committee is to help the town and its residents find ways to reduce their energy consumption without impacting the town's operations or its resident’s life styles. If you would like to help us make a difference in the future of our town, country and planet then please feel free to come to a meeting and share your opinions and/or join the committee.

Topics for the upcoming meeting include the following:
- Final Planning of our Energy Information Event to be held on April 25th at 7PM at the Green Mtn Tech and Career Ctr with planned speakers from Sun Common (Solar Photovoltaic), Bourne's Energy (Heat Pump heating and domestic hot water), Efficiency VT (How to cut your energy bills), and others (someone talking about Electric or Plug In Hybrid Electric vehicles)

- Update on our informal Energy Audit program being conducted by Committee member Jay Hersh with the support of Hyde Park Electric

- Update on our efforts to develop an energy efficiency and cost cutting "tip sheet" which will be included in the electronic bills Hyde Park Electric will send out once they implement their change over to this new billing format.

Email Jay Hersh at jsh@doctorbeer.com or call 888-0777 for additional information
