The Burlington Choral Society, a semi-professional chorus comprised of over 100 voices, will present an homage to English composer Benjamin Britten on Sunday, November 24 at 3:00 P.M. in the Cathedral Church of Saint Paul, Burlington. On the program will be the Nicholas Cantata (Saint Nicholas described in a very different way from the jolly ho-ho-ho guy we’ve come to know and love), Rejoice in the Lamb and the Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings. This is not a same-old, same-old concert. Rather, these exciting pieces are not generally heard and will be sung by your friends and neighbors who have been rehearsing since the end of August, directed by Artistic Director Richard Riley.
Tickets, $22 for Adults, $18 for Students and Seniors, can be purchased at the Flynn Box Office in advance or at the door.
