Come Help Charlotte Park & Wildlife Refuge Remove Invasive Plants! Nov. 9

Past event
Nov 9, 2013, 1 to 4 PM

Charlotte Park & Wildlife Refuge is a gorgeous town-owned park consisting of over 250 acres of fields, forest, and trails and they need our help! Much of the park is overrun by invasive buckthorn and honeysuckle. Saturday, November 9th at 1pm we will be aiding the park in the removal of some of these invasive plants in a hedgerow that will open up a gorgeous view of the lake. We need volunteers to come help out. Bring your friends and family for some fun outdoors- meet some new friends, get some exercise in, and enjoy some hot cider on us.

The entrance road that we will be using doesn't have a street name but it is in between the towns of Shelburne and Charlotte, right off route 7. There's a huge barn with a red roof on your left and lots of cows and pasture. It's about half a mile up on your right and will be heavily signed the day of!
