Are you interested in being part of a group that helps your community prepare for emergencies?
Come learn more about the Medical Reserve Corp (MRC). On Tuesday, April 18th from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at the Centennial Library in Morrisville, in their Community Room. The mission of the Lamoille Valley Medical Reserve Corp is to maintain a team of trained medical and non-medical volunteers to serve our community in the following ways: 1) to respond and assist during a public health emergency, such as an epidemic, a medical surge emergency or local disaster 2) to perform public health outreach and education about emergency preparedness. Joining a MRC unit does not commit anyone to respond to emergencies, events, trainings or drills, but members will have the skills to respond when they can.
