The contracts are signed and it's time to start building the new fire station. On Wednesday April 12 at 6:00pm the Grand Isle Volunteer Fire Department and Selectboard are holding a Ground Breaking Ceremony at the site of the new fire station on Hyde Road just west of the current fire station and town garage. The public is invited to attend.
