The forecast may show some rain, but we will PERSIST! Bring your raincoat and umbrella if needed but the chance of rain seems to be decreasing every day.
For race packet pick-up and an alternate registration avenue, Skida is hosting an awesome pre-event party on Saturday, 5/13, from 4-6 p.m. at its Burlington Showroom (16 Kilburn Street)! Participants can pick up their bib, a custom-designed Skida headband, and swag bag (with a few in-store promotions for participants) while enjoying some tunes and complimentary refreshments from Otter Creek Brewing! Saturday race packet pick-up is highly recommended! If Saturday comes and you haven't registered, stop by the Skida event to register and save $5 on the event fee! As an added bonus, if you're one of the first 500 people to register, you'll secure a free Persist 5K Skida headband. REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN: 7:30-8:30 a.m.
START TIME: 9:00 a.m.
If you pick up your bib on Saturday, plan to arrive at Union Station (1 Main St, Burlington) by 8:30 am. If you need to pick up your bib on Sunday, please arrive no later than 8:00 am.
Pre-race Activities: Arrive by 8:30 a.m. to hear speakers Senator Ginny Lyons; Melinda Moulton, CEO, Main Street Landing; Kesha Ram, politician and women's activist; and Muslim Girls Making Change. We'll also participate in a fun warm-up by Rise Boot Camp!
Post-race Activities: Awards for first place finishers (male and female) will be given at 10:00 a.m. Hang around after the race for music and food!
