Hosted by the Pawlet Energy Group, together with Green Mountain Power and Efficiency Vermont, the fair is your chance to get up to speed on the latest developments in the rapidly changing energy sector – and what they mean for you. In addition to representatives from GMP, Efficiency Vermont, and NeighborWorks of Western Vermont, several speakers will offer expert perspectives. Steven Letendre of Green Mountain College will discuss the economics of residential solar systems. Climate scientist and former Pawlet resident Alan Betts will explain what’s happening to the climate of Vermont. Consultants and installers of renewable energy systems, including Grassroots Solar, Power Guru, Weatherization Works, and Renewable Fuels of Vermont will offer their expertise and advice. Local users of renewable energy technologies, as well as those who have made home energy efficiency improvements, will be on hand.
