The Mad River Resource Management Alliance(MRRMA)in conjunction with the Waterbury Public Library is offering a free workshop on composting at the Waterbury Public Library on April 15, 2017 from 10 to 11 am. At this workshop you will learn how to compost; where to compost; why we compost and how much fun it is to be a composter. As a bonus, if you participate in the workshop you are eligible to purchase a Soil Saver Compost Bin for half the price of our normal truckload sale, only $26.00. We will also have some information on Green Cones if you are interested in processing meat, bones and related materials at home. They will be available for $75.00 if participate in the workshop.
