COMMUNITY NATURALISTS: Bird Language
Saturday, April 8
9 a.m. to noon
Rock Point (5 Rock Point Rd, Burlington)
Join Crow's Path this Saturday for our monthly all-ages gathering for folks looking to track the changes of the seasons, learn outdoors skills, and connect with nature in Burlington's urban wilds. Students, educators, outdoor enthusiasts, teens, parents, grandparents, naturalists and other interested folks all welcome at adult program. Adults and kids (5+) go off on separate adventures, then come back together to share stories.
This month we're diving into the world of bird language, deciphering the meaning behind bird calls and discovering how a robin, cardinal or chickadee can tune us in to the movement of foxes, hawks and people across the landscape. Adults should come ready to spend time sitting and observing, so bring your favorite lawn chair or other cushion for the damp ground. Kids will head out to play games and do some exploration of their own with our nature mentors.
Meet at the main parking lot at Rock Point, 5 Rock Point Rd. Suggested donation $10 per individual, $20 per family.
APRIL VACATION & SUMMER CAMPS

Choose from two different themes each week of summer camp, based at Rock Point: http://www.crowspath.org/portfolio-items/summer-camps/
April Alive Vacation Week Camp will feature field trips across the Champlain Valley to explore the awakening amphibians and budding plants.
