Vermonters for Justice in Palestine is sponsoring an exclusive, one-night screening of the film "Junction 48" on Thursday, April 6 at 7:00, at Merrill's Roxy Cinemas in Burlington. The film centers on Kareem, an aspiring Palestinian rap artist who lives in an impoverished, mixed Palestinian-Jewish city near Tel Aviv. Kareem, his Palestinian girlfriend Manar and their friends use hip-hop to fight back against Israel’s policies. The award-winning film is a New York Times Critics Pick.
