Who: Kids4Peace (www.k4p.org/vermont) is looking for some amazing 12 & 13 year-olds (current 6th and 7th graders) to join our community!
What: Kids4Peace www.k4p.org is a grassroots interfaith youth movement dedicated to ending conflict and inspiring hope in Jerusalem and other divided societies around the world. Our mission is to build interfaith communities that embody a culture of peace and empower a movement for change.
I am writing to announce our summer interfaith immersion camp for current 6th & 7th grade youth. The program continues throughout the school year with the opportunity for group meetings and overnight retreats. As kids get older, there are summer opportunities to participate in international programs and leadership institutes, some of which include Israeli and Palestinian youth from our Jerusalem chapter. Overall, the six-year continuum (ages 12-18) of activities focuses on interfaith dialogue, peacebuilding skill development, leadership training, and practices of nonviolent social change. We strive to create not just another interfaith program, but an interfaith community both locally and around the world.
When & Where: June 28 - July 9th, at Plymouth State University, NH
Apply Here: www.k4p.org/vermont
It all starts with a two-week summer camp this June/July with other Jewish, Christian & Muslim youth from Vermont and New Hampshire. Learn about other religions and cultures, develop skills to be a peacemaker, prepare to meet Israeli & Palestinian youth in future summers in Washington, DC., and be part of a movement for lasting change.

KIDS 4 PEACE: IN THEIR OWN WORDS
"Kids4Peace is about love. A lot of people talk about hating others. We need to spread our peacemaking like a magnet that will bring love back into the world." - Avital, Jewish Kids4Peace camper
"Kids4Peace taught me how to look at everyday life differently. Don't judge, observe...don't hurt, talk it over calmly. I now firmly believe peace is possible and I'm going to try my best throughout my life to help create peace." - Leah, Christian Kids4Peace camper
"When you know and respect my religion, you know and respect the deepest part of me" - Majd, a Muslim Kids4Peace camper
