In honor of National Poetry Month Art on Main will present a reading at the gallery by five local poets; Karla Van Vliet, Basha Miles and Rachel Baird of ARTSight, Elissa Cobb from Yarn and Yoga and Jon Turner of Wild Roots Farm.

The reading is being offered in conjunction with the opening of a new exhibit – The Art of the Word which features handmade artist books and journals by Jane Ploughman and posters, broadsides and cards, from John Vincent of A Revolutionary Press; created using antique, foot and hand-powered printing presses.

The poetry reading and artist reception will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 7.
