CABOT SCHOOL FY 2018 BUDGET RE-VOTE

The Cabot School Board held a Fiscal Year 18 Revised Budget Hearing on 4/3/17. Here is a link to the Cabot School Website with more specific information:

The tax rate increase has been reduced from +9.2 % to +4.06%.
There has been some confusion as to how Act 46 or merger options would impact the budget. Act 46/706 committee meetings are occurring between Danville, Twinfield,(Marshfield/Plainfield) and Cabot (timeline posted here: http://washnesu.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Act_46_timeline.pdf).
Any merger would not happen until AFTER the 2017-18 School year- this Cabot School budget will not be impacted by a merger vote.
