On Thursday April 13th at 7PM the Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society Youth Group will host The Honorable William Sessions III for an incredibly interesting talk: Constitutional Law: The First Amendment, a Judicial Perspective.

Judge Sessions currently serves as senior judge of the United States District Court of Vermont. He is also Professor of the Practice at his alma mater, Middlebury College, where he is currently teaching "American Constitutional Law". He will outline various legal issues in the enforcement of the First Amendment, including discussion of the recent rulings on the travel ban. The talk will be a legal discussion using cases and geared to a general audience.

The talk is open to the community. Following the talk will be a reception hosted by the CVUUS youth group. There is no charge for the talk however, the youth will be accepting donations for the reception to help support their upcoming service trip.
