The Essex Junction Trustees would love to see you at the Essex Junction Annual Meeting this Wednesday, April 5 at 7 pm at Essex High School. The community supper begins at 6 pm. All are welcome. Village residents will be voting on 1) The Essex Junction FYE 18 municipal budget; 2) Whether to transfer $96,000 from the general fund balance to the capital reserve fund for infrastructure repairs; 3) Whether to purchase the Park Street School from the Essex Junction School District for one dollar ($1). Town outside the Village residents cannot vote, but they can attend the community supper and sit in a special section of the auditorium to hear the discussion about the budget and other issues.

Besides the voting we'll also be reviewing the current state of consolidation with Essex Town and a recent survey of Village residents concerning their satisfaction with municipal services, development in the Village Center, and the direction of consolidation with the Town.
