Join Craftsbury Academy senior Amy DeLaBruere at the Craftsbury Public Library this coming Tuesday as she reads from her newly published book of poetry: A Play of Light and Shadow.
This is Amy's first book of poetry and takes the reader through a compilation of vivid, introspective poems which focus on the effect of the world on the individual. Her work exemplifies a beautiful simplicity in these complex qualities of life, leaving the reader questioning life's most raw and basic principles - love, death, desire, authority.
We welcome all to come and celebrate Amy's work! Copies of A Play of Light and Shadow will be available to purchase after the reading!
Amy DeLaBreure resides on Lake Memphremagog and plans to study English and Creative Writing. She is also a participant in The Art House program: Studio Night Out.
